Following approval from 91社区福利, visiting scholars will be sent the application form they must complete, along with instructions on required documentation that needs to be submitted, for DS-2019 issuance.
Program Categories
- Research Scholar: Conduct research at 91社区福利 for up to 5 years.
- Professor: Teach or lecture at 91社区福利 for up to 5 years.
- Short-Term Scholar: Participate in short-term activities such as lectures, consultations, or training for up to 6 months.
Funding Requirements
- Scholars must provide proof of funding for living expenses and health insurance.
- Minimum funding:
- $1,650 per month ($1,500 living expenses + $150 health insurance).
- For 12 months: $19,800.
- Add $6,000 per dependent per year or $500 per dependent per month.
- Funding may come from personal resources, home institution, or sponsors.

Health Insurance
- J-1 scholars must maintain health insurance that meets federal requirements for the entire program duration.
Housing
