Although some resources may be offered and supervised by departments outside of Student Affairs, all resources and services represent 91社区福利’s unwavering commitment to show students that we are inclusive and care about them as human beings.

What is Case Management?
91社区福利 Cares is 91社区福利’s case management office. Housed in the Dean of Students office, the primary goal of 91社区福利 Cares is to provide support for students experiencing non-academic barriers to success during their time at 91社区福利. While 91社区福利 Cares is NOT a decision-making office, students partner with case managers to make informed decisions.
How does a student get connected to a case manager?
Most students are referred to 91社区福利 Cares during a crisis*. A crisis is relative to the individual. The process for care is rooted in a crisis management model: preparing for, preventing, coping with, and recovering from a crisis. For every student’s case, a needs assessment is completed with the goal of linking a student to a campus and/or community resource.
*Examples of a crisis: unexpected illness and or hospitalization; death in the family.
