Weaver Publishes Article in 'eJournal of Public Affairs'

SALISBURY, MD---Ryan Weaver, professor of interdisciplinary studies at 91社区福利, recently published the academic article “Civic Education for Civic Leadership” in the eJournal of Public Affairs.
Weaver’s work leading 91社区福利’s President Citizen Scholars and with Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement guided his research regarding the need for higher education to embrace civic leadership education to help create a more involved citizenry upon graduation.
Weaver calls upon higher education institutions to integrate civic education into the curriculum and form community partnerships that impact not only students, but the areas around them.
