Perdue School of Business, is No. 30 on this year's list.

Many rainforests worldwide are getting cut down. But Costa Rica has a different narrative. The government pays landowners for every hectare of forest they protect or replenish. Giacomo Delgado, a researcher at ETH Zurich, is studying the program's impacts by putting microphones in different landscapes and analyzing the sounds they pick up.
